Rules and Regulation

I. Attendance

A. Weekly

1. Saturday: 4:30p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Class and Mass)

2. Non attendance at mass constitutes an absence.

B. Absence/Tardy

1. Class starts promptly at 4:30 p.m.

2. Student is responsible for information missed.

3. Excessive absences and tardiness will result in failing the class.

II. Behavior

A. Socially and morally acceptable conduct.

B. Committed to Preparing for the Sacrament

C. Attire (dress modestly for Mass)

III. Required Materials

A. Folder and Working Pen

A. Worship Experiences

1. First Friday Mass and Holy Hour

2. Saturday/3d Sunday/Youth Mass

3. Thanksgiving Mass

4. Parish Fiesta Mass & Procession

5. Immaculate Conception (December 8) Mass & Procession

6. Lenten Liturgy (Chrism Mass, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil

7. Stations of the Cross

8. Retreat on March 7,8 & 9

9. Our Lady of Fatima Rosary Crusade

B. Service Experiences

1. Pro-Life Pledge/Walk

2. Christmas Caroling : December 25 - January 6)

3. Fiesta Annual Clean-Up

4. Individual Ministry

V. Parent Expectations

A. Workshops: Parents need to attend two workshops for the year. We will be scheduling these workshops periodically.

Please find announcement in the bulletin or monthly calendar.

B. Fundraising: Parents need to spearhead fundraising. Our basic needs are for the retreat and Confirmation day.

Breakdown of expenses:

Retreat House - 2,750

Food - 1,300

Supplies - 250

Banner - 150

Priest Stipend - 200

Church Donation - 200

Crosses - 80

Flowers for Church - ?

Approximately 200.00 per student. Money should be divided by two fundraisers.

I" installment due by December 15, 2007 and 2nd installment by March 5, 2008.

C. Confirmation Celebration: Dinner at social hall. We need a committee to coordinate this activity.

D. To assist your child in selecting a Godparent for Confirmation.

Please remember that just because individuals are married does not mean they are married in the Catholic Church.

Please verify information. Individuals who are cohabitating are not eligible to be Godparents.
